Brian Simmons President / Owner

Brian Simmons

Simmons was a first round draft pick (17th overall) by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 1998 NFL draft. Brian played 9 seasons with the Bengals before signing as a free agent with the New Orleans Saints in 2007. Simmons had 740 career tackles and two interceptions returns for touchdowns during his successful career. Brian has had many memorable moments with the team but nothing more memorable than his interception against the 2001 Super Bowl Champions Baltimore Ravens that propelled the Bengals to a 21-10 win. Simmons played college football for the University of North Carolina and earned All-American honors from the Football News, Associated Press and Walter Camp Foundation during his senior season. Brian attended New Bern High School in New Bern, North Carolina and played football, basketball, baseball and track during his high schools years.


Scott Brunswick - Director of Football Operations

Scott Brunswick

Brunswick is a 1991 graduate of St. Henry High School in St. Henry, Ohio. While at St. Henry, Scott was a three sport athlete. He played football, basketball, and baseball. He was All-state in football and basketball and All-league in baseball. He led his team to three state titles (one in football and two in basketball). His football records include...pass receptions, reception yardage, and receiving touchdowns. In high school, he shared the field with Bobby Hoying and Jeff Hartings. After high school, Scott received a scholarship from the University of Toledo. While at Toledo, he was a four year starter at wide receiver. He led his team in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns two of his four years. He helped lead his team to a M.A.C. championship in 1995 and was a vital part of their Las Vegas Bowl victory that same year. Scott was also a two time GTE Academic All-American and graduated with honors. After college, Scott had NFL tryouts with San Fransisco, Cincinnati, and was with the Dallas Cowboys in 1997. Unfortunately, an ankle injury cut his career short. Scott is a Certified Personal Trainer, and has successfully trained over 100 athletes in the past decade.


Carson Palmer

Carson Palmer

Palmer is a current member of the Cincinnati Bengals where he has been the starting quarterback since his second year in the league. He was drafted in 2003 as the 1st overall pick, and has twice been selected to the Pro Bowl. In 2005, Carson led his team to an 11-5 record and an AFC North Division Title. He set a Bengal’s record with 32 touchdown passes that year. He was an All-American at USC, and won the Heisman Trophy in 2002. He is the leading passer in PAC 10 history with 11,818 yards, 922 completions and 72 touchdowns.


Bobby Hoying

Bobby Hoying

Hoying is a former NFL quarterback with the Philadelphia Eagles and Oakland Raiders. He had 11 career touchdown passes, and was a starter for the Eagles in 1997. He played at The Ohio State University where he was an All-Big 10 quarterback and all-American. He holds several Buckeye records, which include career completions and career touchdowns. He finished 10th in the Heisman voting in 1995. His teammate and good friend Eddie George was the recipient of that prestigious award in that same year. Bobby is currently a real estate broker in Columbus, Ohio.

 


Jeff Hartings

Jeff Hartings

Hartings is a former NFL lineman with the Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers. He played eleven seasons before retiring in 2006. He was a two time Pro-Bowl selection and was a vital part of the Steelers' Super Bowl Championship team in the 2006. Jeff was a two time All-American and two time Academic All-American at Penn State University. Jeff currently helps coordinate charity events for The United Way.


Takeo Spikes

Takeo Spikes

Spikes is a current member of the San Fransisco 49er’s as a linebacker. He also played for the Bills and the Eagles. He was the 13th overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals and was named to the Pro Bowl two times. He is recognized as a fierce competitor and a very reliable teammate. He graduated from the University of Auburn, and was an All-American for the Tigers. He led the Tigers with 136 tackles in 1997, and was the mainstay on a very solid defense.


Craig Krenzel

Craig Krenzel

Krenzel played quarterback in college for The Ohio State University with his most successful years being the 2002 and 2003 seasons. He graduated with a degree in molecular genetics.  He was also three-time All-Big Ten academic award winner, and recipient of the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame. As a starter for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Craig produced an impressive 24-3 record during his career.  He led his team to the national title in 2002 and was named Most Valuable Player of the Fiesta Bowl twice in his illustrious career. He was drafted in 2004 by the Chicago Bears in the sixth round.  He won his first three starts for the Chicago Bears in 2004.  He was also a member of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2005.  He threw for a total of 718 yards and three career touchdowns.  He is currently a radio commentator for the Ohio State football team.


Jim Lachey

Jim Lachey

Lachey is a former NFL lineman who played ten seasons with the San Diego Chargers, the Oakland Raiders and the Washington Redskins. He was a three time Pro Bowl player and helped Washington to a Super Bowl win in 1991. Jim played college football for the The Ohio State University. He was an All-Big 10 performer and All-American while with the Buckeyes. He is currently a radio broadcaster for Ohio State Radio network.


Mike Tomczak

Mike Tomczak

Tomczak is a former NFL quarterback with the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a member of the 1986 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears. He had 73 career starts, completing 55% of his passes and compiling 88 touchdowns. He was an undrafted free agent from The Ohio State University, and was a standout for the Buckeyes as he led his team to two Big 10 titles. He is a current member of the broadcast team at ESPN.


Todd Boeckman

Todd Boeckman

Boeckman is a former quaterback of The Ohio State Buckeyes, and had a very solid career. He led his team to the 2008 National Title game where he threw for 208 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He compiled 2,375 yards passing and 25 touchdowns during the National Championship season. His most productive game as a Buckeye was against Penn State where he had 253 passing yards and three touchdowns in a big road win. He led the Big Ten in passing efficiency with a rating of 148.94. He was named first team All Big Ten and was a Davey Obrien award semi-finalist in 2007. For his career Todd was 266-402 with 3,085 passing yards and 31 touchdowns. He earned his Bachelors degree in Business/Consumer Affairs.
